laser image, inc. was solely in the computer building, repair and consulting business when I first met them in 2006. After two years of terrific success, they purchased Sandpoint Satellite and in doing so, acquired their Dish, DirecTV, and WildBlue partnerships. The also inherited their wesbite, which was outdated, and did not fit the new company mantra at all. In conjunction with their new logo launch, they wanted a new website, and so I made that happen.

Their instructions were very simple: We do not want a complicated "sales" website. We want a good-looking very lightly promotional website that just directs people to contact us by phone, email or to come into the store. There will be no product databases, e-commerce, or other dynamic content.

This made the decision to go with a simple HTML/PHP site with no SQL backend or CMS involved an easy one. CSS styling. So far, laser image, inc. has been very pleased with the website and it has served to deliver customers to the store. One added benefit: The quick loading and SEO of a simple HTML website has proven terrific: despite low amounts of text, the right keywords were chosen and now laser image, inc. is on the front page of google results of most searches they were looking for.
