About Me

I’m an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and editor, and when I’m not doing that I co-founded and am the Festival Director of the Lakedance International Film Festival in Sandpoint Idaho. I split my time between the City of Angels and gorgeous North Idaho.
I enjoy being creative, productive, inspired, emotional, adventurous, entrepreneurial, and sensitive. In many ways I am a perfectionist but I also know how to get things done in a timely manner. I prefer quality over quantity, and feel like our goals should always be passionately sought, otherwise they are not worth having.
As a child, I was fairly quiet and introverted (being an only child helped this) and yet always found theater incredibly fascinating. I stayed loosely associated with theater and acting throughout school, sometimes going after roles in plays, but never cast as a lead outside of grade school, but then I also did not seek leading roles. The great turning point for me was working in the Entertainment Department for the Disneyland Resort. This was a dream job and experience that would force me to act, entertain, and communicate with hundreds if not thousands of people daily. Simultaneously, watching great cinema opened my eyes to what could be done in the world of filmmaking. This built who I am today – I enjoy socializing with interesting people, especially about entertainment and film, and I spend most of my life in the film world with running a globally recognized film festival and making movies.
Who I’m not: There are other Trevor Greenfields who specialize in real estate, online marketing, and radical theology. And while I find all of those interesting, rest assured, they are not me, they simply share my name.
